Technical Specifications for Advertisements

Web banner dimensions, print files and advertising materials for Travel Fever.

Website banners

Desktop banners are displayed at viewport widths of 1140 px and above. Wide placements retain the original 970 × 90 px aspect ratio (97 : 9); the sidebar uses 1 : 2. Display dimensions below are maximum sizes; wide banners adapt to the viewport.

Placement	Desktop display	Recommended artwork for a sharp display
Wide banners HP01, HP02, HP03, HP05, HP06, K01, K03 and C02	≈ 1320 × 122 px	2910 × 270 px
Homepage sidebar banner HP04	360 × 720 px	720 × 1440 px
Sidebar banners K02 and C01 on other pages	300 × 600 px	600 × 1200 px

Supply JPG, PNG or WebP in RGB using the specified aspect ratio. Double-size artwork keeps the image sharp on high-density screens. Existing artwork is displayed in full without stretching or cropping; a different aspect ratio may leave empty space.

Supply separate tablet and mobile artwork in the existing sizes: tablet 728 × 90 px (HP01, HP04, K01–K03, C02) or 728 × 140 px (HP02, HP03, HP05, HP06); mobile 320 × 150 px (HP01–HP05, K01, K02) or 320 × 480 px (HP06, K03, C02). C01 is a desktop-only placement.

Requirements for print PDF

specific format (see Advertising Formats) + bleed* 5 mm on all 4 sides
fonts must not be scattered (either converted to curves or part of pdf)
photos and logos saved in CMYK colour format without inserted colour ICC profile and direct colours
300 dpi resolution of photos and logos in pdf
fitting points and crop marks
the use of a postscript file is recommended for production and Acrobat Distiller program is recommended for the creation of a print pdf

*For our clients who are unsure what bleed is exactly, we add a brief explanation: Bleed is the overlap of graphic layout across the exact format of the advertisement after cropping. It is always necessary to allow for bleed when the graphics fill the page up to its edges. The bleed must not contain any text, logo or other important information, because this part will be cut off.
