Spa Icon Celebrates 130 Years
Marian Spa is celebrating 13O years since the opening of the exclusive 5-star Ensana Nové Lázně Hotel. Architecture Inspired by Italy
The construction of Nové Lázně was initiated by Abbot Alfred Clemens, while its appearance was designed by architect Josef Schaffer. The latter found inspiration in the Italian Renaissance, which is reflected in the harmony of proportions and the magnificent expression of the entire building.
Spa Gem
The Roman Baths are the real jewel of the hotel. The colossal hall with a glass ceiling, marble columns and rich decoration evokes the atmosphere of ancient thermal baths. It is here that one fully realises why Mariánské Lázně is among the top European spas.
Enduring Royal Tradition
Nové Lázně was also loved by the European elite, led by King Edward VII. In the ornate “Royal Cabin”, he enjoyed carbonic baths, which are a symbol of the prestige of the local procedures.
