The Glenmorangie family of premium whiskies with a 180-year tradition has expanded with a new addition. Taste the atmosphere of Japan’s capital with the limited edition – A Tale of Tokyo.
“Tokyo has always been one of my favourite places. I am fascinated by the contradictions between its busy streets and peaceful gardens, ancient and modern buildings, multi-sensory experiences and culture. The years spent in Tokyo made me think about whether I could capture my experiences in the form of whisky," Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Distillation and Whisky Production at Glenmorangie Distilleries, describes the birth of this new product.
Enjoyment with All the Senses
The new beverage combines tones of pepper with bitter cherries and coconut, while the delicious taste of orange peel spills in the mouth with hints of incense and sweet oak. Finally, there are the classic flavours of Glenmorangie whisky – tangerine, almond and marzipan. Rare Japanese Mizunara oak barrels play a key role in the preparation of this unique whisky. In addition, A Tale of Tokyo is encased in a unique packaging design, the creator of which is the famous Japanese artist Yamaguchi Akira.
Lake Neusiedl, nicknamed the “Sea of the Viennese”, lies on the border between Austria and Hungary. Its shallow waters, salt pools and reed beds form the heart of the Seewinkel nature reserve – a landscape that has rightly been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is here that the Vila Vita Pannonia resort was built. A place for perfect relaxation.
In the heart of the Austrian Alps, where mountain elegance blends with top-class hospitality, another gastronomic triumph was achieved this year. The gourmet restaurant, La Fenice in the Hotel Arlberg Lech, has been awarded a prestigious star in the 2026 Michelin Guide. This recognition places La Fenice among the culinary giants of the region.
